- Role Title: Deputy Programme Chief
- Role Purpose: • To support the Programme Chief in the Successful delivery of Shirejam 2023 programme
- Key Accountabilities: --Role Specific • Procure activities suitable for their zone (Day Youth Programme, Evening Youth Programme, Day Visitor Programme, Adult Programme) suitable for their zone. • Manage a zone team of at least 3 people (including at least 1 youth member). --Shirejam Programme Team • Provide a balanced programme against P.O.R. for up to 4,000 young people against a cost-effective model, that is financially modelled and fit for purpose against the Sub Camp. • Ensure safety elements are complied with, including risk assessments and application of ways of working, procedure, and policy. • Partner with facilities and operations on site. • Support Communications, Media & social media are relevant, suitable, and appropriate and utilised to the benefit of Scouting and Shirejam. • Liaise with key stakeholders, Shirejam Trustees, County Commissioner Three Counties Showground Staff and third parties.

- Role Purpose: To support the Programme Chief in the successful delivery of the Shirejam 2023 programme

- Key Accountabilities: --Role Specific • Aid procurement of activities with their Zone leader (Day Youth Programme, Evening Youth Programme, Day Visitor Programme, Adult Programme) suitable for their zone. • Provide on-site support for activities along with other zone support members. --Shirejam Programme Team • Provide a balanced, adventurous programme against P.O.R. for up to 4,000 young people against a cost-effective model, that is financially modelled and fit for purpose against an agreed zone of activities. • Ensure safety elements are complied with, including risk assessments and application of ways of working, procedure, and policy. • Partner with facilities and operations on site. • Support Communications, Media & social media. • Liaise with key stakeholders, Shirejam Senior Leadership Team, County Commissioner and third parties.
