Support the chef to feed the Shirejam team and visiting VIPs
- Role Title: Site Communications Manager
- Role Purpose: • To support the Media Chief in the Successful delivery of Shirejam 2023 programme
- Key Accountabilities: • Maintain the comms channels during Shirejam 2023 • Operate a control centre with radio and telephone Support • Support other Media Teams and aid to connect media channels • Partner with facilities and operations on site • Support Communications, Media & Social Media are relevant, suitable and appropriate and utilised to the benefit of Scouting and Shirejam • Liaise with key stakeholders Shirejam Trustees, County Commissioner Three Counties Showground Staff

- Time Commitment: • Weekly Meetings • Upto 4 hours a week administration Three months prior to event • Weekend Planning Meetings • Week for Shirejam

Control Room Managers operating radios to support the operational running of Shirejam. Working in teams to cover the Incident control log and work closely with Operations, Media and Programme teams.
Liaising with Traffic and Security to aid smooth running of operations on site. Undertake roving patrols if required.
